Mic has been in the field of mental health since 2003. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has trained in expressive arts therapies (painting, art, clay, music, dance), Play Therapy, Dance Movement Therapy, EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Body Work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Processing and the like. Mic is an educator and has taught at both university and college level and has trained in over 80 movement forms (nationally and internationally) to include dance, martial arts and athletics which supports his holistic and integrative approach. Mic has worked with people from all walks of life. This ranges from Olympic athletes, CEO’s, Military members, Children and their families as well as couples, chronic illness survivors and those who are survivors of traumatic events etc. He believes that all people deserve access to therapy and have the right to heal.
